Ail agorwyd Canolfan Grefftau Rhuthun yn Haf 2008 yn dilyn trawsnewidiad gwerth 4.4 miliwn o bunnau, ac fe’i hystyrir bellach fel y ganolfan fwyaf blaenllaw i arddangos Celf Gyfoes Gymhwysol yn y DU. Mae’r adeilad newydd, sydd wedi ei greu o garreg a zinc, yn cynnwys gweithdai i’r artistiaid, caffi, arddangosfa gelf, a thair galeri drawiadol a fydd yn denu celf gynhwysol gorau’r byd, trwy arddangosfeydd cyffrous a beiddgar. The re-modelled Gaol proveds safe and secure storage for North East Wales's main archive collection, and provides facilities for visitors studying their geneology to undertake research in the Denbighshire County Archives. Prior reservations are required.
